The Fair Trade Network AGM 2011 will be held on Thursday 10 November at the Fountains Hotel in Cape Town again this year.
The AGM and network event is for all stakeholders of fair trade (including agriculture, tourism and craft) to meet, discuss the strategic direction of the fair trade network in South Africa, and network throughout the day and evening. The Chairman, Executive Director and Treasurer will report on the activities and achievements of the past year, and future plans of Fair Trade Network.
The draft strategic plan of Fair Trade Network, which is being developed, will be presented to the audience for discussion and consultation. Delegates will be asked to approve the plan, so implementation can start. In addition, there will be some interesting presentations by fair trade role-players.
The day will end with a network cocktail with Fairtrade labelled wine and some finger food. The agenda of the day will be distributed on a later date.
Attending the AGM and networking event is free of charge, however if you would like to attend, please complete the online registration form by Tuesday, 1 November 2011.
