FAIRTRADE AND CLIMATE CHANGE:
How African producers can benefit from sustainable adaptation strategies through the Fairtrade supply chain.

Who: Producers, traders, buyers and their supporters who wish to see climate change adaptation projects and activities improve the position of farmers in Africa.

What: FLO-CERT will present and discuss with participants some practical examples of its facilitation of adaptation projects and how similar initiatives may be applied in other African contexts and Fairtrade Africa will present and discuss with participants their position on Climate Change towards COP 17, Durban, South Africa.

Why: Be part of policy discussions and practical projects that support African farmers in the face of climate change and enhance their positions as trading partners through Fairtrade.
