THANDI INCREASES SUPPLY TO LOCAL MARKET
Thandi Wines has appointed Somerset Beverages as their new local market agent in a move to increase the availability of Thandi Fairtrade wines to the local market. Established in 2002 as South Arica's first broad-based black empowerment experiment in the agriculture sector, Thandi was the first winery in the world to gain Fairtrade accreditation in 2003.
